Friday Archives (Loobylu's meme). This was done several years ago after I had a particularly nasty bike wreck on the way to work. I hit a small chunk of curb that was hidden in the shade when I tried to get back on the sidewalk (I'm a nervous road rider). I supermanned over the handlebars and landed flat on the sidewalk with my bike on my back. Some nice gentleman stopped to ask if I was okay and I was like yes, thank you and he drove off. I had a tough time getting out from under my bike because the handlebar was stuck in my backpack.

Ouch! I rode a bike in Boston once and I thought that was WAY scarier than any mountain trail I'd been on. I'd be heading for the sidewalk, too!
