Friday Archives (Loobylu's meme). This was done several years ago after I had a particularly nasty bike wreck on the way to work. I hit a small chunk of curb that was hidden in the shade when I tried to get back on the sidewalk (I'm a nervous road rider). I supermanned over the handlebars and landed flat on the sidewalk with my bike on my back. Some nice gentleman stopped to ask if I was okay and I was like yes, thank you and he drove off. I had a tough time getting out from under my bike because the handlebar was stuck in my backpack.

I've decided that I want to write and illustrate a children's book.  I've been reading up on the subject lately and I'm quite cheesed and yet nervous.  There seem to be lots of bloggers out there who have accomplished this feat.  I hope that I can join the list some day!
