So excited - I managed to revise fairly majorly all seven days (though I only got through two PBs - tells you how much help they needed LOL). Thanks so VERY much, Meg and the sponsors and bloggers. You guys are FANTABULOUS!

Thank you so much for running this wonderful week of revision, Meg! It was very motivating! I revised 3 different stories and a bunch of poems. Net result: 1 story sent to my agent, 1 sent to my critique group, and 2 poems submitted to magazines. That's waaaay more than I expected to accomplish at the beginning of the week! Hooray!

Meg, Thank you for sharing fun and useful tips. It was a great week! I revised 1 PB and realized another PB was really a chapter book. It happens.

Thanks for a wonderful week!

Thanks for helping make this a productive week, Meg. I made major progress on a couple PBs. My MG was a bit more frustrating, but after hitting a wall I made some structural changes and am now moving forward in a rewrite. I'm so glad you do this! :)

It was sooo challenging for me this year with all that I've got going. So I KNOW I would not have revised even one day this week if it wasn't for you, Meg, and all the amazing members of the ReviMo Community! Instead, I revised 7 days, and now I can say I took care of my own writing, as well as that of others. ReviMo inspired me to achieve! THANK YOU a million times! I wish I could give you all a giant group hug!!!!! Congrats everyone! You all did a fantastic job of achieving your goals, too, and supporting everyone!

Meg, Thank you for a marvelous week and the opportunity to enter Rafflecopter. The real prize, though, was to revise. I made real headway this week and submitted two manuscripts.

I'm actually amazed that I was able to do the 7 days, some days it was 10 mins here and there- others, an hour or two. Just in this week alone, I've actually noticed an improvement in my writing and flow-- Thanks again!

My first ReviMo but not my last! It really helped me get back into my writing after a month off due to ill health. I appreciate the motivation and inspiration! Many thanks!

My first ReviMo will absolutely not be my last. Reading of everyone's progress, or lack of it, frustrations, exhilaration and despair showed me that I am in some amazing company on my writing journey. Here's to us, gang, I salute and toast you with the first pint of coffee of the day!! Thanks Meg, for ramrodding the trail! Yee Haw!

It was a GREAT week - I gathered a lot of momentum to get my "drawer" of dusty ms polished and ready for new crits. Especially helpful to look back on the stories I worked on during last year's ReviMo and see how my writing has improved. Thanks Meg and all the guest bloggers who offered tips and guidance.

Jen Swanson said...

Had a blast this week, Meg, as always. Thanks for the "push" to get things done!!

Kirsten Larson said...

Thanks for a great ReViMo, Meg. I think the biggest "prize" is a nearly complete rewrite to share with my critique group after 6 days of work.

Kimberly Cowger said...

Meg ,
When I first heard about ReviMo I was hesitant to join. The thought of completing a challenge in such a short period of time had me fearing failure. But much like PiBoIdMo and 12 x 12, I seemed to discover ReviMo at the exact time I needed it. This group had me energized and ready to tackle what is often considered a daunting task. I even woke up this morning, on day 8, with further revision ideas for the PB I was working in last night!
My goal for 2015 was to revise more and thanks to ReviMo I'm off to a great start!
Thanks again

What a great kick in the butt to start off my year. I revised a story I've been meaning to revise for a over a year but have been avoiding. Got it under 600 words, started in a totally different spot, hacked and chopped to allow room for pictures, and strengthened my main character. Really great week. Can we do this once a month? :)

Vivian Kirkfield said...

What a wonderful way to start the year...ReviMo gave me the push to inventory my manuscripts, in addition to revising a bunch. Thank you, Meg, you are the best!

Doris Stone said...

Thank you, Meg for putting the challenge together. I'm feeling so proud that I actually put my "butt in chair" and revised all 7 days! Yay! ReviMo! Yay! Meg Miller!

Thanks Meg! I was too sick to accomplish what I wanted, but I appreciate the badge for what I did which was truly enjoy and get inspiration from all the daily blog posts, and at least I revised 1 day for 2 1/2 hrs. so that was great! Thanks again. Next year, I'm shooting for the 7-day plan!!!

Charlotte Dixon said...

Meg, you have inspired and set me on a sound course for 2015. Thanks to you, the bloggers and terrific participants, I have that forward movement pushing me to get in that chair and write. I'll definitely be there for Petite ReVIMO in February :) Best wishes to you all!

Thanks for these great prizes. I won't enter the Rafflecopter, because although I revised 4 days, I already get the benefit of Alayne's awesome critiques in my critique group. I loved the inspiration and I credit your week with jumpstarting my Jan. PB draft. Thanks so much, Meg.

Meg, thank you for another amazing ReviMo!! I am sad to see ReviMo come to an end, but will be kept busy putting my manuscripts through another round, or rounds, of revisions before they head over to 12 x 12 in 2015 next month.

I love doing PiBoIdMo and then ReviMo right after in order to help polish my manuscripts and get them ready for 12 x 12

Sue Heavenrich said...

Thanks for another ReviMo. It was inspiring & helpful to know that lotsa other folks were sweating over revisions. Even though I only had 5 days, I know I got more done than I would have had this been a "normal" week.
